WHAT ARE "INDIVIDUAL EYELASH EXTENSIONS"

Individual Eyelash Extensions are used to help lengthen and thicken the appearance of your natural lashes. Top quality synthetic mink or silk extensions are applied to each individual natural lash, one at a time.  This results in a show stopping lash with every application.

HOW LONG DOES THE APPLICATION TAKE?

Depending on the desired look and condition of natural lashes, individual eyelash extensions can take 1-2 hours.

WHAT DOES THE APPLICATION PROCESS INVOLVE?

The process of eyelash extensions is pain-free and very relaxing. It will involve you lying on your back on a massage bed while Farrah applies individual lashes one by one. Resulting in a beautiful set of lashes once the process is complete!

HOW LONG WILL THE LASH EXTENSIONS LAST

You should expect your extensions to last around 4-6 weeks considering you follow the aftercare plan Farrah will provide. Infills are recommended every 2-3 weeks to keep lashes in top condition.

WHAT ARE INFILLS ARE HOW DOES IT DIFFER TO OTHER PROCEDURES?

Naturally we all lose 2-5 lashes everyday. With this loss, we also lose extensions. Farrah will re-apply extensions to those that have dropped, meaning you keep your full flutter for longer.

Please note, for an infill appointment there has to be a minimum of 40% extensions existing. 

WILL EYELASH EXTENSIONS HARM MY NATURAL LASHES & IS IT SAFE?

As long as you have a fully trained lash technician applying your extensions, and you do not pull or tug on your lashes, there is no risk of damage to the natural lash.

If you do not choose Farrah to do your extensions, please make sure you are visiting a fully trained and experienced lash technician. 

IS IT OKAY TO GET LASH EXTENSIONS WET?

It is very important to allow enough time for the lashes to dry and set before getting them wet. Farrah recommends waiting 48 hours to her clients to guarantee they are dry.

Once set, it is vital to care for your eyelash extensions and gently wash them frequently to ensure their longevity.

WHAT IS YOUR RECOMMENDED AFTERCARE ROUTINE?

Using a water based, oil free cleanser of your choice, mix with water and apply to the lashes from root to tip. Using luke warm water rinse the cleanser away and gently pat dry .Using the disposable wand that Farrah will give you after your appointment, gently brush out your extensions both morning and night. This will ensure that lashes stay clean and un-tangled.

Please do not rub, pull or tug at your eyes as this may cause damage to the natural lash. 

WHAT IF I GET AN ALLERGIC REACTION

At Farrah's, we will always patch test you for both the glue and pads up to 48 hours before application to ensure that the experience is nothing but comfortable for you.

If a delayed reaction occurs, Farrah will remove the lash extensions at the soonest available appointment. 

WHAT IS THE PROCESS OF EYELASH EXTENSION REMOVAL? IS IT PAINFUL?

Removal is a very easy, and again pain-free process with a high quality removal liquid or cream being applied to gently break down the glue and slide the extensions away from natural eyelashes.
